The Violence Against Women with Disability Survey is a community-based survey that was designed to provide reliable data on the nature and forms of violence against women with disabilities and their particular vulnerabilities. The survey also provides information on issues relating to women’s rights regarding their autonomy over decisions regarding their health care and their access to various services, as the withholding of these rights creates an extra layer of discrimination against women with disabilities.
