Digital Agribusiness Map: Agri Tech & Climate-Smart Agriculture in Egypt
The Digital Agribusiness Map is a fully integrated, interactive platform providing a regional diagnostic of the Egypt’s AgriTech and climate-smart agriculture landscape.
Developed under the “Making Egypt’s Communities & Agri-Food Systems Resilient” project — in partnership with the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and funded by the Government of Japan — the map is designed to support evidence-based policymaking, private sector investment, and inclusive agricultural innovation.
Egypt Refugee and Resilience Response Plan (ERRRP) 2025
The ERRRP provides strategic guidance to the refugee response in Egypt, lays out the refugee coordination structure across the various sectors, and estimates the financial requirements to respond to the identified humanitarian and development needs. Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates (MoFA), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the ERRRP appeals for US $339 million to address the growing needs of refugees, asylum- seekers and host communities.

2024 has been a year marked by growing regional crises that reverberated far beyond the country’s borders. The ongoing war in Gaza and Sudan have caused immense human suffering and had serious socio-economic and humanitarian consequences for neighboring countries, including Egypt.
As a key actor in the Arab region and the African continent, Egypt has demonstrated leadership and resilience; managing the spillover effects, including increased demands on public services, disrupted trade flows, and heightened pressures on host communities.
Towards Localizing Sustainable Development: Summary Report
Localization is at the heart of sustainable development. The comprehensive set of 27 SDG Localization Reports—one for each governorate—offers a clear picture of where we stand and where we need to go, both locally and nationally, to achieve the SDGs. Backed by an OECD-accredited methodology, these reports translate global goals into local realities by providing detailed, indicator-level insights on SDG performance, highlighting each governorate’s unique needs, challenges, and opportunities.
