To address this, the EU launched a programme valued at approximately 4.4 million euros to equip primary and secondary schools with new laboratories, aiming to support education and scientific advancement in the community. As part of this initiative, the EU organised a competition titled 'Going Further with Science', encouraging students to carry out innovative science experiments using the newly provided lab equipment. Winning schools were awarded new sports facilities. |
