Description of investment | The scope of the investment is the construction of an 840 kW (AC) / 1018 kWp PV power plant at the new Nicosia WWTP. The system will be an on-grid system connected to the power network. The following works are planned under this project:

Scope of works | Electricity consumption represents a significant share of the operation costs of the Nicosia WWTP. Through the installation and operation of an on-grid 840 kW (AC) PV system, the electricity cost will be reduced between 15 and 20%. In turn, this will decrease the financial burden of the WWTP operation on the Turkish Cypriot local community of Nicosia. |
