UNDP has released a new tool that is designed for Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action (NAMA) developers and policy makers.The tool allows users to evaluate the sustainable development performance indicators and sustainable development results achieved over the lifetime of the NAMA. The tool is linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and shall allow policy makers to track the effects of the NAMA on environmental conservation, economic growth, poverty reduction and public welfare.

MDG Carbon is currently testing the tool in several NAMAs. First lessons learned will be shared over the next few months.
