Thailand received almost 40 million international tourists in 2019, with 60 percent travelling for beach and coastal tourism. This assessment maps plastic use across the tourism value chain, with a closer look at Koh Samui, Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Tao, and sets out priority measures to reduce pollution.
