This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Paris agreement and a critical moment as countries gear towards the third generation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), meaningful youth engagement is more crucial than ever. Empowering young people to be effective climate leaders is essential for forging a collective impact and solving the existential issues of climate change.

For this purpose, UNDP has conducted an assessment of youth engagement in Cambodia’s NDC presented in this report and proposed a roadmap for a more youth-responsive and inclusive NDC 3.0.
