Elevating the Eco-Business Awards: Recognizing Businesses Driving Sustainable Solutions

The Ministry of Tourism, Kingdom of Cambodia and UNDP, with support from the Government of Japan through Embassy of Japan Cambodia, convened a consultation on 11 September with government representatives, local authorities, tourism businesses, development partners and industry associations to gather recommendations for strengthening the Eco-Business Awards categories and evaluation criteria, ensuring they remain relevant, transparent and aligned with sustainability, green innovation and circular economy practices across Cambodia’s tourism sector.

The Eco-Business Awards recognize tourism businesses that are leading by example in environmental sustainability and responsible business practices, encouraging wider adoption of sustainable practices across the tourism sector.
