UNDP Belarus Cooperation with Core Donors

December 4, 2025

Across the world, UNDP tackles the most pressing development challenges: fighting poverty, responding to crises, and building resilient futures.

Core funding, provided by the member states, is essential to this work. Unlike earmarked project financing, core resources offer flexibility, allowing UNDP to allocate support where it is most needed and respond swiftly to emerging development priorities.

UNDP deeply appreciates the sustained commitment of its core donors, whose contributions enable adaptive, strategic interventions aligned with national and global development agendas.

Top Core Donors: Germany, the United States, Japan, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Canada, Denmark, the Republic of Korea, Qatar, and the United Kingdom.

Using the core funding, UNDP Belarus continues to support the country across seven priority areas, from green and just transition to social inclusion.
