PRRP is assisting to broker partnerships between government and the private sector. For example, to reduce risks to communities through the delivery of cost-effective services and improved accessibility to CCDRM activities, and to encourage engagement in self-regulation to either gain a competitive advantage as a `first-mover’ or to reduce the incentives for Government to regulate therefore retaining market flexibility.
