Minister of Labor and Social Affairs received UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia

On 3 November, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan received Natia Natsvlishvili, UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia.
During the meeting, issues related to women's economic empowerment, employment promotion, social inclusion, and the advancement of gender equality were discussed.
Minister Torosyan highly valued UNDP’s support in developing Armenia’s social protection system and improving the quality of social services. In this context, the Minister particularly spoke about the Results-Based Financed Active Labor Market Program, which derives from the Employment Strategy for 2025–2031, and emphasized its role in promoting employment among youth, women, able-bodied beneficiaries of family and social assistance programs, as well as forcibly displaced persons from Karabakh.
Natia Natsvlishvili also highlighted the importance of the joint work carried out with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and expressed readiness to continue cooperation toward achieving the jointly defined goals.
