The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Regional Bureau for the Arab States, Amman Regional Hub and UNDP Iraq are organizing a regional roundtable discussion where governments, institutions, and organizations will participate to share the lessons learned and emerging good practices from the region on the Prevention of Violent Extremism (PVE).

The aim of the roundtable discussion is to provide a platform for enhancing mutual learning, exchange of experience, emerging good practices, and lessons learned in the context of PVE, particularly from countries supported by UNDP.

The roundtable will include six thematic sessions focusing on lessons learned and emerging practices, and two sessions discussing guidance notes related to the application of behavioral science to support the PVE programming and mental health and psychosocial support.

The last session will be dedicated to an initial discussion on the need for establishing a regional PVE working platform and community of practice /network
