From 3 to 5 November 2025 in Addis Ababa, the UNDP Regional Service Centre for Africa, in partnership with the African Union Commission, convened journalists, editors and development practitioners to address the growing visibility gap in African development reporting. 

In a context of shrinking Official Development Assistance, reduced core funding and rising misinformation, the Media Clinic called for a shift from reactive engagement to sustained, transparent and strategic media partnerships.
