UNDP Serbia is committed to safeguarding personal data. In the following document, we provide more details about the collection of personal data by UNDP related to registration of participation at an event organized by UNDP, or which UNDP supports.
2. Basis for Data Collection and Consent
UNDP collects and processes personal data in line with the UNDP Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy.
The act of completing and submitting an electronic registration form for an event serves as the individual's consent for data processing.
3. Purpose of Data Collection and Processing
We process personal data to ensure smooth and effective organization and coordination of our events.
4. Data Controller and Processors
UNDP Serbia, located at Bulevar Zorana Đinđića 64, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia, oversees the collection and processing of data (Data Controller).

UNDP may share specific data with event organization partners, such as government entities or event agencies, if necessary. The sharing of data is strictly limited to what is required for the completion of specific tasks. Third-party partners involved in organizing the event will only receive the data necessary for completing their specific tasks and must adhere to the same data protection standards as UNDP.

6. Data Usage and Processing
The collected data serves multiple purposes, including informing participants about the event (sending messages before, during, and after the event), planning for capacity and logistics, facilitating on-site registration and seating arrangements (including printing name tags), and assessing the effectiveness of the event.
7. Access to Personal Data
Access to personal data is strictly confined to personnel involved in event organization and management. This includes the event planning team, registration and logistics staff, and data analysis personnel.
Third-party partners involved in organizing the event will only receive the data necessary for completing their specific tasks and must adhere to the same data protection standards as UNDP.
8. Data Retention Period and Security Measures
Personal data collected for event organization purposes is retained for one year following the event's conclusion, after which it is erased from our systems.
In certain instances, data may be anonymized and used for statistical purposes, making it impossible to identify a specific individual.
Collected personal data is securely stored on servers maintained by UNDP and/or our contracted cloud partners, under stringent security measures.
9. Data-Related Rights
Every individual has the right to access, correct, or withdraw consent for the UNDP to process their data, and request that their data be deleted.

Please be advised that withdrawing your consent may result in the termination of any event-related agreements or disqualification from participation in the event.
