Launched in partnership between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Türkiye and the Alternative Life Association (AYDER), the Collective Solutions initiative has facilitated the socio-economic reintegration of individuals who underwent amputations following the February 2023 earthquakes through the application of the Triple E methodology. 

The TRIPLE E methodology - Evaluation, Empowerment, Engagement encompasses, a diagnosis phase involving a comprehensive assessment of patients’ physical, psychological and socio-economic needs; a device phase focused on enhancing individuals’ functional independence through the provision of appropriate prosthetic and orthotic solutions; and an inclusion phase that supports patients’ active participation in social and economic life.
