In 2024, Thailand reached major sustainable development milestones, including Southeast Asia’s first equal marriage law and Asia’s first sovereign Sustainability Linked Bond. UNDP supported inclusive progress by localizing the SDGs, advancing climate and biodiversity action, reducing disaster risks, and promoting responsible business practices.

Working with government, civil society, and the private sector, UNDP helped shape policies through initiatives like the Thailand Policy Lab and focused on sustainable finance and public-private partnerships. This report highlights results across five portfolios: climate, nature and energy; sustainable financing; SDG localization; social inclusion; and agents of change—all achieved together in 2024.
