The Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda remains a critical framework for advancing gender equality, promoting women's participation in peace and security processes, and safeguarding the rights of women and girls in South Sudan. This report presents an assessment of key developments, achievements, opportunities, and challenges in the implementation of the WPS agenda at the national, state, and administrative area levels. It contributes to ongoing efforts to strengthen evidence-based reporting and accountability on national, regional, and international commitments related to gender equality and women's participation in peace and security processes.
