Developing of a 3-year Strategic Plan for the Career Women’s Network Kigali

UN Women is the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women with the objective of providing support to national partners in implementation of international commitments; financial and technical assistance to innovative programs and strategies that promote women’s empowerment and gender equality; and leadership and coordination in UN country teams on their response to gender equality and women’s empowerment\

As part of its mandate, UN Women works in collaboration with the Government of Rwanda and other key actors such as the Career Women’s Network Kigali to empower professional women and engendering workplaces. The Career Women’s Network Kigali (or CWNK in short) is a professional network of senior career women in Rwanda. It began with a small group of women in August 2015 and grew steadily to the current size of over 450. In June 2017, the Career Women’s Network Kigali was officially registered as a limited company by Rwandan law.

Interested consultants are encouraged to submit their technical proposals demonstrating their ability to deliver on this assignment based on their qualifications and experience by e-mail to “rwanda.offers@unwomen.org” citing ‘Strategic Plan Career Women’s Network Kigali’ on the subject line of the email. Deadline for submission of proposals is 5:00 PM on 16 May 2019. The selected Consultant should aim to start immediately after communication of successful application.

Assignment duration

This consultancy should take no more than 30 days and should be finalized preferably by 17th June 2019.
