    World Biodiversity Day 2025

    In celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity on 22 May 2025, UNDP Namibia and the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) invite Namibians to showcase their creativity through two national competitions. 🔹 Drawing Competition Theme: “My Namibia, My Nature” Open to children aged 7–14. Submit original A4/A3 artworks highlighting Namibia’s biodiversity. 🗓️ Deadline: 15 May 2025 | 🎁 Prizes & feature on UNDP platforms 🔹 Video Competition Theme: “Nature in Action: Stories from Namibia” Open to all Namibian residents. Submit short videos that tell compelling biodiversity stories. 🗓️ Deadline: 15 May 2025 | 🏆 Top prize: N$5,000 Both competitions aim to raise awareness about the value of biodiversity and inspire environmental stewardship through creative expression.
