The joint UNDP-IOM Climate Security in the Pacific project, funded by the UN Peace Building Fund, is working closely with the Governments of Kiribati, Tuvalu and Republic of the Marshall Islands to understand and address critical climate-related security risks.

With the support of the international think-thank Adelphi, the team is developing three National Climate Security Profiles for the atoll nations mentioned above.

A series of workshops were conducted to identify and assess specific climate-related security risks, as well as discussing entry points to address those risks.

Learn about the preliminary findings from the summaries of the national workshops in this document, including climate security pathways, suggested actions and entry points.
