The subject of the research is the reintegration of Roma returnees in North Macedonia from western European countries as asylum seekers or economic migrants and the list of services they need in the process of reintegration into society.
The research focused on six areas of access to personal documentation: identification documents, social protection, healthcare, education, employment and housing.
The research was conducted in three Roma communities: Skopje (Shuto
Orizari), Shtip and Prilep, aiming to identify the services they need that would be implemented throughout the country.
