UNDP North Macedonia Marks 16 Days of Activism with Forum Theatre Performances in Kavadarci and Strumica
December 16, 2025
Forum Theatre inspires dialogue and community reflection
At the heart of UNDP’s activities this year were two performances of the Forum Theatre play “Condemned”, an interactive production that brings real experiences of gender-based and technology-facilitated violence to the stage.
Performances took place in Kavadarci on 28 November and Strumica on 1 December, engaging nearly 200 young people, teachers, parents, and community members. Through active dialogue with the audience, the play encouraged reflection on harmful norms, digital safety, and the importance of recognizing and reporting violence.
Both events were organized in close partnership with the Municipality of Kavadarci and the Municipality of Strumica, alongside local schools, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders.
