UNDP in Armenia

Delivered through the partnership of Yerevan Municipality, the European Investment Bank, the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P), the Green Climate Fund (GCF), and UNDP, the project transformed the facility into a safe, inclusive, energy-efficient and climate-resilient learning environment.

The kindergarten now accommodates 200 children, while integrating modern insulation, renewable and energy-efficient solutions, improved ventilation and enhanced seismic resilience.

More than a renovation, it is a model for low-emission public infrastructure that reduces energy use, lowers emissions, strengthens climate resilience and helps build a greener future for Armenia's next generation.
