This report, developed through a partnership between the GSM Association (GSMA), UNDP, and the African Union Commission (AUC), investigates how digital technologies are promoting Africa's blue economy. It emphasizes fisheries, aquaculture, and marine and coastal biodiversity conservation. The analysis incorporates learnings from four country case studies — Tanzania, Ghana, Mauritius, and Zambia, to reflect Africa's diverse geography, ecology, and institutions.
