Electoral Support MENA

The Regional Electoral Support project for MENA, funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), focuses on strengthening regional cooperation and knowledge among electoral stakeholders, establishing and enhancing the capacities of key actors, and reinforcing inclusive political participation, particularly through the engagement of women and youth.

Aim of the project

The regional electoral support project aims to enhance the credibility, transparency, effectiveness, and sustainability of democratic institutions and processes in the region.

The first phase of the project ran from 2014 to 2016. The second phase kicked off in 2017 until 2023.
