This is a Pre-Funding of the Spotlight Initiative Country Programme Document, entitled “Accelerating the Prevention and Response to Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Early Marriage for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (ages 10-24).
The Spotlight Initiative investment in Mozambique aims to contribute to a country where every woman and girls is free from SBGV and harmful practices, and thus is able to realized her sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Main Objectives
The main objective of the pre-funding proposal is three-fold:
Making the development of the Country Programme as inclusive, participatory and transparent as possible by involving the different stakeholders throughout the process;
Ensuring High Level visibility of the communication about the spotlight initiative
Build momentum for implementation and transformative results by narrow critical information gaps, expanding public awareness of SBGV and their role in its elimination and engaging with critical sectors such as the private sector to ensure a comprehensive response to SGBV in public spaces
