Stabilization Micro-Grants for MSMEs and Cooperatives Affected by the 2026 War
This call is part of UNDP Lebanon’s stabilization response, providing micro-grants to Lebanese-owned MSMEs and Cooperatives across Lebanon to recover from the impact of the 2026 war. It aims to restore productive capacity, sustain employment, and rebuild local economies in conflict-affected communities. It is implemented by UNDP Lebanon.
MSMEs
Who is Eligible?
- Lebanese-owned Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprises formally registered with the Commercial Register (سجل تجاري) and Ministry of Finance.
- Operating in any of the 8 governorates of Lebanon.
- Active in any productive sector: agriculture, agri-food processing, manufacturing, retail/trade, services, tourism, crafts, ICT, construction, education, or health.
- Affected by the 2026 war (revenue decline, physical damage, workforce reduction, or operational disruption).
What the Grant is For & Benefits
- Stabilization micro-grants of up to USD 6,000 per entity to restore and grow the business.
- Disbursed in two tranches: 70% upon approval, 30% upon verified proof of expenditure.
- Open to flexible use within two intended-use categories (or a combination of both):
Working Capital / Operational Recovery Grant (operational costs, inventory restocking, raw materials, utilities, wages for resumption period).
Equipment / Inputs / Materials / Renewable Energy Systems / Rehabilitation (machinery, agricultural inputs, raw materials, solar panels and batteries, minor rehabilitation of premises). - Selected applicants will receive technical support through the application and implementation cycle, including verification visits and monitoring.
COOPERATIVES
Who is Eligible?
- Lebanese Cooperatives formally registered with the Ministry of Agriculture's General Directorate of Cooperatives (GDC). GDC registration is mandatory at application stage (no exception).
- Operating in any of the 8 governorates of Lebanon. Priority for cooperatives in conflict-affected areas.
- Active in any productive sector, with focus on agriculture, agri-food processing, livestock, crafts, and rural value chains.
- Affected by the 2026 war (revenue decline, physical damage, workforce reduction, or operational disruption).
What the Grant is For & Benefits
- Stabilization micro-grants of up to USD 6,000 per cooperative to restore and grow operations.
- Disbursed in two tranches: 70% upon approval, 30% upon verified proof of expenditure.

- Applications submitted by email, courier, or in person will NOT be accepted.
- All documents must be in Arabic or English. Budgets and supplier quotes must be in USD.
- Please prepare the required documents listed in Annex 1 (at the bottom of this page) before starting the application. Incomplete applications cannot be submitted.
- Expected completion time: 25 to 35 minutes for online completion; allow additional time to prepare uploads.
- For cooperatives only: The cooperative President OR an Authorized Representative with a notarized letter of mandate must submit the application.
