SDG Platform:

Monitoring of projects,

public budgets, and SDG indicators

PROJECT OWNER: SIGOB - América Latina y El Caribe

The 2030 Agenda reflects the aspirations for a better future for people and planet. Implementing the 2030 Agenda is challenging due to its scope, coordination requirements, financing needs, and information requirements.

The UNDP-SIGOB SDG platform is a tool to support coordination around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. The platform combines information from different public agencies. It intuitively presents complex data on initiatives, budgets, location, institutional responsibility, and impact measurement. The ODS platform is a work that usually involves the Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Finance, and the statistics entity. Through public budget tagging, the use of big data, and interoperability with national databases, the platform improves monitoring, accountability, and transparency in SDG management.

The UNDP-SIGOB regional project provides a digital platform and implementation services.
