From 2016 to 2027, UNDP supported the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa) in modernizing its technological platform, implementing standardized software to manage increased members, automating processes to meet ISO 9001:2015 standards, and advancing continuous improvement. These efforts enhanced SeNaSa's operations and service quality, reducing inequality in health access.


 

In order to support the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness in the response in health services, within the framework of collaboration with the National Health Insurance ( from UNDP we have accompanied during 2016-2027 in the modernization of its technological platform, which included the implementation of a standardized software with the capacity to absorb the increase in SeNaSa members . Additionally, during 2018 support has been provided in the automation of critical processes for compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards through the acquisition and implementation of Quality Software ( SoftExpert ), which represented an important technological advance for the improvement of its operations. These efforts were subsequently accompanied by external verification of the quality of the system and the incorporation of continuous improvement processes for recertification of the standard and management of computer equipment in vital areas of information technology, which result in the improvement of the internal functioning of SeNaSa and in the quality and scope of the service offered to the population, thus reducing the existing inequality gap.
