Digital Now:
Training in Digital
Communication for the Future of Work
PROJECT OWNER: UNDP NY, United States
Digital Now is UNDP’s digital learning platform designed to strengthen communication and digital marketing competencies for its staff and strategic partners. Through an accessible, flexible, and self-managed learning experience, this space brings together essential content — from expert talks to interactive tutorials, podcasts, and trend analyses — aimed at training development professionals in an increasingly demanding and dynamic digital environment.
Organized into thematic modules, Digital Now covers key areas such as social media, UX/UI, content strategy, digital production, search and advertising, and best practices in digital environments. Each section is designed to offer applied, up-to-date knowledge, with practical tools that enable participants to enhance their performance in campaign management, institutional storytelling, data analysis, and multi-format content creation.
One of the most relevant differentiators of this platform is its modular approach, which allows users to progress at their own pace, selecting the topics most relevant to their responsibilities. The content is adapted to multiple levels of experience, making Digital Now useful both for newcomers to the digital field and for seasoned professionals looking to update their skills.
In addition to the technical modules, the “UNDP Humans” section brings a human dimension to the learning experience by sharing testimonials and experiences from colleagues across different regions, thus strengthening institutional identity and promoting a culture of collaborative learning.
Through initiatives like this, UNDP reaffirms its commitment to a people-centered digital transformation, where capacity development plays a strategic role. In a context where digital communication is a key tool for advocacy, transparency, and community engagement, Digital Now offers a concrete, scalable, and adaptable solution to build a better-prepared, more connected, and more effective organization.
