The Kenya Floods Recovery Needs Assessment was a nationally led exercise, spearheaded by the Government of Kenya. The Ministry of Environment, along with other key line ministries, provided critical leadership and coordination support.
Sector-specific assessments were carried out by focal points from relevant ministries, in collaboration with experts from development partners, bilateral agencies, and civil society organizations. This multi-stakeholder approach ensured a comprehensive and inclusive analysis of the impacts, needs, and priorities for recovery.
