Khuzestan Province has diverse habitats for the presence of all types of birds due to different climates, weather diversity, important and abundant rivers, and being located on the northwestern edge of the Persian Gulf. About 400 species of birds have been observed and recorded in this province, among which more than 300 species can be seen in HorAlazim wetland.
