This document builds on the Gender-Sensitive Budget Analysis (GSB) processes supported under Pro PALOP-TL Phase III. By consolidating the evidence, findings and recommendations generated through these processes, it aims to contribute to informed dialogue and decision-making around Guinea-Bissau’s 2026 General State Budget.
 

Developed within the framework of the Pro PALOP-TL Phase III Programme, with the support of the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with the programme’s beneficiary countries, this publication provides a practical methodology for integrating gender equality into planning and budgeting processes, identifying opportunities to strengthen governance, transparency, and equitable public resource allocation, in line with national priorities and international commitments on gender equality.
