UNDP Guinea Bissau Early Response To COVID-19

Introduction

This project is a UNDP Guinea Bissau CO response to mitigate the negative effects of COVID-19.

 

 

Output

  1. COVID-19 Epidem. Surveillance Strengthening the COVID-19 epidemiological surveillance system in Guinea-Bissau by supporting the functioning and management of health- centers and raising awareness.
  2. Sustaining Livelihood Covid-19 This output aims at ensuring that at least 250 vulnerable cashew crop growers from Cacheu and Gabu regions obtain support in harvest of their crops, treatment, packing, transportation to preselected warehouses and appropriate storage.
  3. COVID-19 Health Proc_WB This project is delivered by UNDP and WB-financed. The purpose of the project is to provide institutional support to the Ministry of Health to address the challenges emerging from the pandemic through the provision of medical supplies.
  4. UNDP GNB Early Resp. COVID-19 This project is a UNDP Guinea Bissau CO response to mitigate the negative effects of COVID-19.
  5. COVID-19 Rapid Resp. Facility This Output aims at implementing quick and impactful efforts in the next four-six months, it will give the opportunity to foster strategic alliances with IFIs and bilateral donors, as well as with other UN Agencies for future actions.
