UNDP’s Giving Facility for Flood Relief and Livelihoods Support

UNDP Sri Lanka has established a Giving Facility to mobilize funding for flood relief and livelihoods support in response to Cyclone Ditwah. In the aftermath of the devastating cyclone, UNDP’s Giving Facility offers partners a fast, transparent and highly accountable channel to deliver support where it is needed most. Through this facility, partner contributions can directly fund immediate livelihood relief, including essential supplies, emergency services, and urgent community support.

What we do

In Sri Lanka, UNDP has been working as a key development partner of choice since 1967, to achieve sustainable human development in economic, social and environmental fronts. Working closely with the Government, civil society, the private sector and communities, UNDP aims to eradicate extreme poverty, and reduce inequalities and exclusion to protect both people and the planet.
