The SIPS News Bulletin (January–June 2026) highlights progress in strengthening public institutions in Bangladesh through reforms in civil service training and recruitment, public service commission transparency, national statistics, human rights, and parliamentary capacity. Supported by UNDP and the Embassy of Switzerland, the initiative introduced new institutional frameworks, piloted competency-based recruitment, strengthened data and human rights capacities, and renewed engagement with Parliament to promote more capable, accountable and responsive governance
