The Middle East conflict is worsening Bangladesh's already fragile economy through three channels: energy supply disruptions, fertiliser shortages, and remittance risks. Rising inflation, food insecurity, and job losses disproportionately affect vulnerable groups. UNDP recommends four priority responses: macroeconomic stability, energy security, expanded social transfers, and livelihood protection.
