The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh launched a mobile application called UNDPBD e-library on Tuesday to enable instant access to all digital resources in one place - on any handheld device.

Currently, it has almost 200 e-books, says a press release. UNDP Bangladesh Resident Representative Stefan Liller said: “There is hardly an aspect of our lives that has not been transformed by digital technology. In Bangladesh, we are using technology not only to deliver many of our programs but also to make us accessible to our partners and the communities in which we work.  “This e-library is one such initiative that offers a wide array of resources for everyone, including students, teachers and researchers.” The UNDPBD e-library app can be downloaded from Google Play, and it will soon be available on the Apple App Store.

Users need to sign up once to use the digital library.
