Building Bridges to Success: Futurenation's Employability Masterclass brings together students and industry experts for a brighter tomorrow.

To prepare students for future economic opportunities Futurenation, a collaborative initiative by UNDP Bangladesh, Grameenphone Ltd., and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), organized "Employability Masterclass" at the Zohir Raihan Auditorium of Jahangirnagar University on 12 February 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about career prospects and provide them with essential career guidance.

The masterclass covered a wide range of topics including Personal Branding Tools (i.e., CV Creation), Self-assessment, Employability Skills, Transferable Soft Skills and Tech Skills, Business Communication Tools, Career Mapping & Planning techniques, which was conducted by Mohammad Shareef Mahmood Khan, Head of Dhaka Business Circle, Grameenphone Ltd. Among other esteemed guests Dr. Mohammed Mostafa Feeroz, Pro-VC (Education), Jahangirnagar University, Dr. Md. Laek Sazzad Andallah, Director, Student Welfare and Counseling Center, JU, Dr. Afsana Hauqe, Additional Director, Student Welfare and Counseling Center, JU, Debashis Roy, National Project Manager, UNDP, and Farhana Islam, Head of Social Impact, Grameenphone Ltd. were present.

Around 400 students joined the employability masterclass and more than 700 students joined Futurenation Platform to avail the scholarships and courses offered. Over the year 2024, Futurenation has envisioned to engage 100 educational institutes nation-wide to enable students with skills offerings and employment connects.
