UNDP releases a new manual for public policy researchers in Azerbaijan

November 2, 2023

Baku, 02 November 2023 UNDP developed a new manual for the use of public policy researchers.

The guidebook was drafted as part of the "Developing innovation-driven and sustainable civil society in Azerbaijan" project funded by the European Union. The book explains the concept of public policy, provides detailed information about the stages of the policy development process and the participation of civil society organizations in this process. The manual also touches on the role of recommendation documents in the adoption of policies and their preparation and presents practical examples.

The guidebook was developed on the basis of public policies and policy analysis trainings organised by the project. The goal is to support civil society organisations to increase their participation in the process of developing policies aimed at the sustainable development.

The resource is suitable for the use of students, teachers, and other researchers in this field.
