Innovation for Inclusion led by Youth with Disabilities

Across Asia and the Pacific, youth with disabilities are already building solutions their communities need. They have the skills, the drive, and the potential to create lasting change.

What they need is someone to believe in them.

Innovation for Inclusion is a crowdfunding campaign by UNDP Youth Moonshot that supports young innovators with disabilities across Asia and the Pacific with grants, mentorship, and the market access they need to grow their solutions into lasting impact for more people.

Why Innovation for Inclusion Matters​

(1) 700 million persons with disabilities in Asia-Pacific, yet millions of young people with disabilities remain excluded from education, jobs, finance, and innovation ecosystems. (2) Only 25% of persons with disabilities are employed — youth with disabilities face about 3 times higher unemployment rate and systemic exclusion. (3) Massive untapped innovation potential lies at the heart of this issue, far beyond inclusion alone.
