Advancing Reforms for Transparent and Inclusive Management of Electoral Systems in Armenia - ARTEMIS

What we do

ARTEMIS project aims to support Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission to deliver credible, inclusive, transparent, and secure elections ahead of the 2026 parliamentary elections. The project will strengthen institutional capacity and independence, advance digital transformation and cybersecurity, and promote gender equality, accessibility, and meaningful participation of women, youth, persons with disabilities, refugees, and other underrepresented groups. It will also enhance voter education, counter disinformation and hate speech, and improve oversight of campaign finance and digital campaigning to build public trust in democratic processes.

Objectives

The overall objective of the Project is to contribute towards achieving enhanced credibility, inclusiveness, and sustainability of the electoral process in Armenia, leading to increased public trust in democratic governance (Programme of the Government of the Republic of Armenia for 2021-2026).
