This response framework for the socio-economic impact of the pandemic, a multi-agency eort under the coordination of the Resident Coordinator and with UNDP as technical lead, is one of three instruments of the overall UN System response to the COVID-19 crisis and its impact. It supplements the health response and the humanitarian response, for which, within the UN System, respectively WHO and OCHA provide the technical support and coordination to the Humanitarian Country Team and the Humanitarian/Resident Coordinator.
