In 2025, UNDP supported Djibouti in a decisive strategic transition: moving from fragmented projects to integrated national frameworks capable of producing measurable results at scale. By supporting the development of the National Development Plan (UNDP) 2025–2030 and the integration of the Integrated Financing Framework (INFF), UNDP contributed to better aligning public policies, data, and financing with national priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At the same time, strengthening governance, social cohesion, climate systems, and socio-economic inclusion – particularly for women, youth, and persons with disabilities – has concretely improved the livelihoods and resilience of the most vulnerable populations. The achievements of 2025 constitute a solid operational foundation to consolidate in 2026 the reforms undertaken and to sustainably transform national ambition into investments.
