This project helps responsible institutions to provide essential services in two major cities to reduce epidemics, improve security, and enable Yemenis to experience the advantages of peace.

Project activities are expected to improve the quality of life by reducing water-related diseases; contribute to a stronger economy by increasing productivity; and, contribute to stability by allowing communities to enjoy the benefits of peace.

Through this project, UNDP and local partners, Public Works Project (PWP), and Nahda Makers Organization (NMO) work together to rehabilitate, build, and provide infrastructure and equipment that will:

1. Reduce water-related diseases
2. Contribute to a stronger economy by increasing productivity,
3. Revitalize stability by allowing communities to enjoy the benefits of peace
