In 2025, UNDP continued to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals, partnering with the Government, communities, and development actors to foster inclusive growth, resilience, and prosperity. This year also marked the successful completion of the UNDP Country Programme Document 2020–2025, highlighting five years of strategic interventions and measurable impact across the country.

UNDP’s initiatives in 2025 strengthened communities through locally led innovation, youth and women empowerment, digital transformation, climate action, and sustainable energy solutions. Our work supported peace-building, improved governance, and environmental protection, creating pathways for sustainable livelihoods and inclusive development from rural areas to urban centers.

Through collaboration and strategic partnerships, UNDP continues to ensure that Uganda’s people thrive, ecosystems are safeguarded, and sustainable development remains on track.
