The Sudan Agri-food and Market Resilience Analysis (SAMRA) finds that three years of war have severely disrupted Sudan's agricultural production and fragmented its markets, but identifies seven priority value chains (sesame, sorghum, soybeans, groundnuts, hibiscus, gum Arabic and livestock) where targeted investment in finance, infrastructure and trade facilitation could restore livelihoods and reduce reliance on humanitarian aid.
