The UNDP Samoa Accelerator Lab is conducting an exploration to capture emerging innovations within the starter up entrepreneurship space.

Criteria for applicants:

This is an open call to all interested individuals or teams. Eligibility criteria for applicants are as follows:

1. Innovation or startup is anchored in the tourism industry or can be aligned to developing regenerative tourism
2. Can be an individual innovation or startup, community based or a team initiative
3. Must be based in Samoa or locally owned and/or created
4. Initiative has the ability for scalability

Successful applicants will be part of the Accelerator Lab Regenerative Tourism learning cycle and will participate in the following activities:

1. Sense – deep diving the innovation or initiative
2. Explore – aligning the innovation to existing markets
3. Test – twinning programme with partners to create scalable opportunities
4. Grow – launching of sustainable innovations

Successful applicants will also receive mentoring with key UNDP experts on incorporating sustainable and circular economy tools to grow their initiatives and direct matching with partners to create economic opportunities and capacity building.
