In 2024, the world faced multiple crisis amid a context of uncertainty, marked by growing political polarisation, climate change, and social transformation driven by digitalisation. At the same time, Brazil experienced a recovery in terms of economic and social indicators—including reductions in both unemployment and poverty.

Within this context, UNDP Brazil continues to align its efforts with the country’s priorities to promote more equitable, resilient, and sustainable development.
