The Pacific Insurance and Climate Adaption Programme, in partnership with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), worked with communities and the private sector to develop and launch an innovative “Meso-level” inclusive anticipatory insurance solution that systematically links to early warnings. The main objective is to enhance disaster preparedness and limit losses at the community level through pre-arranged financing.
